YST Science Outreach Workshop - Pemba Region

The YST Pemba Science Outreach Workshop achieved outstanding success, drawing participation from a range of schools across Pemba region, along with committed mentoring teachers. It took place at Teachers Centre - Michakaini, with Dr. Brenda Dogget serving as the science advisor. This workshop aimed to empower science educators to motivate secondary school students in the fields of scientific innovation and technology, nurturing a culture of curiosity and exploration.

By developing vital research and problem-solving skills, students are equipped to tackle the challenges they face in their communities and are inspired to become proactive change-makers, driving progress and contributing to the nation’s sustainable development through the effective use of science and technology.
