YST Science Outreach Workshop - Lindi Region
The YST Lindi Science Outreach Workshop was a remarkable success, attracting a diverse array of schools from Lindi region, along with dedicated mentoring teachers. It took place at each participating school virtually with Joseph Clowry, Dr. Gozibert Kamugisha and Dr. Brendan serving as the science advisors. The Workshop focused on empowering science educators to inspire secondary school students in the realms of scientific innovation and technology, fostering a spirit of curiosity and exploration.
By cultivating essential research and problem-solving skills, students are not only prepared to confront the challenges within their communities but are also inspired to become proactive agents of change who will drive progress and elevate the nation’s sustainable development by leveraging the power of Science and technology.
