YST Science Outreach Workshop - Kigoma Region

The YST Kigoma Science Outreach Workshop achieved outstanding success, drawing participation from a range of schools across Kigoma region, along with committed mentoring teachers. It took place at Katubuka Secondary School, with Dr. Gozibert Kamugisha serving as the science advisor. This workshop aimed to empower science educators to motivate secondary school students in the fields of scientific innovation and technology, nurturing a culture of curiosity and exploration.

By developing vital research and problem-solving skills, students are equipped to tackle the challenges they face in their communities and are inspired to become proactive change-makers, driving progress and contributing to the nation’s sustainable development through the effective use of science and technology.
