YST Science Outreach Workshop - Arusha Region

The YST Arusha Science Outreach Workshop represented a transformative step forward in the enhancement of science education throughout the Arusha region. It took place at Kaloleni Secondary School with Joseph Clowry serving as science advisor. This event successfully convened a diverse group of schools and dedicated mentoring teachers, all united to empower science educators to inspire secondary school students in the realms of scientific innovation and technology, while fostering a culture of curiosity and exploration.

By equipping students with vital research and problem-solving skills, the workshop not only prepares them to confront the challenges within their communities but also motivates them to become proactive agents of change. These emerging leaders are well-equipped to drive progress and make impactful contributions to the nation’s sustainable development by leveraging the transformative power of science and technology.
